Held under the theme “United in Collaboration, Transforming Development,” the high-level event recognized ACG’s immense contribution to global development over the past five decades.

IsDB: A Turning Point and Bigger Goals

Dr. Muhammad Sulaiman Al Jasser, Chairman of the IsDB Group, called the jubilee more than just an anniversary, but a “turning point.” He emphasized that the ACG will respond to global challenges like climate resilience, digital transformation, and inclusive growth with even bolder and better solutions in the future.

Key Dialogues

The celebration featured two major roundtables:

  1. Education Financing: The second phase of the “Smart Financing for Education Initiative (SmartEd)” was launched in partnership with the IsDB and the Global Partnership for Education (GPE).
  2. Partnership with the World Bank: Dr. Muhammad met with WBG President Ajay Banga, reaffirming the commitment to expand co-financing and closer collaboration on key initiatives like job creation, post-conflict reconstruction, and universal health coverage.

On its 50th anniversary, the ACG reaffirmed its mandate to deepen collaboration and accelerate development on a global scale.
