
🔘 In the first quarter of 2026, the volume of Islamic financing services provided by microfinance organizations reached 11.2 billion UZS. This figure has increased nearly 8 times compared to the same period in 2025.
📈 The bulk of the provided services consisted of “Murabaha” contracts, amounting to 7.7 billion UZS or 69% of the total services. Furthermore, “Mudarabah” services accounted for 2.1 billion UZS (19%), while “Islamic Lease” (Ijarah) services amounted to 1.4 billion UZS (12%).
✔️ Legal entities led the client breakdown, accounting for 5.2 billion UZS worth of services. ✔️ The shares of individuals and sole proprietors stood at 2.9 billion UZS and 3.1 billion UZS, respectively.
🔘 Regionally, the largest share of services was concentrated in the city of Tashkent, where 10.6 billion UZS of Islamic financing services were provided. In the Namangan region, this figure amounted to 670 million UZS.
🔘 The results indicate a growing demand for Islamic financing services and show that this sector is gradually developing within the microfinance market.
